The Role of Academy Kit Coordinator
Reporting to the B Team & Academy Kit Lead, the Academy Kit Coordinator will support with the provision of providing high-quality apparel and equipment on both training and match days to both players and coaching staff of all teams at Brentford FC.
Having an eye for detail, and being extremely well organised, the successful candidate will have a flexible approach, be adaptable and able to work under pressure as well as being a team-player, a good communicator and have the ability to provide effective assistance with full kit operation.
Main Accountabilities
- Assist with daily provision of Academy training kit and equipment, liaising with the B Team & Academy Kit Lead and coaching staff.
- Use the relevant tools to ensure match & training kits are printed for players and staff within appropriate timescales.
- Organising and distributing trialist kits to players of all ages.
- Ensure training and match equipment is supplied to required specifications e.g. training and match balls are of the correct ball pressure.
- Daily laundering of match and training kits, working alongside others within the team
- Daily set up of changing rooms within the training ground to the required standard.
- Changing of laundry cleaning products and cylinder for clothing dryers.
- Working with others in the team to ensure boot change, kit rooms and laundry areas are kept clean and tidy and organised to a professional standard.
- Manage kit and equipment at U18 matches when required to do so.
- Assist in kit operation at B Team matches when required to do so.
- Provide cover or assistance for B team and U18 training as required.
- Carry out administrative tasks related to kit and equipment as required, such as printing of operation sheets and stock checks.
- Work on a weekly rota of early and late report times.
- Travel with the U18 squad when required to do so (games/pre-season/tours).
- Assist in the setup of the U9-U16 Academy programme.
- Printing and distribution of U9-U16 training and match kits on a weekly basis.
- Ensure that any concerns you observe, or are raised with you in your role, are shared with the Safeguarding Team through appropriate channels.
