The Role of Head of Academy Kit Operations
The successful candidate will be responsible for B Team and all Academy age groups kit requirements, to include but not limited to kit ordering, preparation and replenishment.
Main Accountabilities
- Prepare training kit for B Team and Academy Staff & Players.
- Prepare matchday kit for B Team and Academy Staff & Players
- Organise and store B Team and Academy kit orders upon delivery.
- Manage B Team and Academy kit team by delivering relevant training, coordinating meetings and setting regular objectives.
- Manage B Team and Academy kit team timetable to ensure adequate coverage across training and matchdays.
- Liaise with the First Team Kit Manager when ordering kit and equipment.
- Maintain Club database recording stock levels of all B Team and Academy kit and equipment and share with the relevant staff.
- Attendance at B Team and/or Academy home and away matches.
- Work closely with the First Team Kit Manager to maintain high standards of work within the Kit Department.
- Ensure the whole work area of the department is organised and maintained.
- To ensure that any concerns you observe, or are raised with you in your role, are shared with the Safeguarding Team through appropriate channels.
General Club Accountabilities

Person Specification - Essential Personal Characteristics
- Self-motivated
- Able to multi-task and respond to a variety of needs,
- Work well under pressure
- Previous experience within a kit/laundry role
- A clean driving licence (essential)
- IT literate
- Strong communication and organisational skills
- The ability to work as part of a team as well as individually
