The Role of the International Marketing Exec
We are looking for an enthusiastic, personable and highly organised individual to join our Marketing team in an entry-level role focused on building Brentford FC’s global fanbase. This role is ideal for someone with a strong interest in marketing, fan engagement and international football fandom.
The successful candidate will support international marketing projects, assist in developing relationships with fan groups across the globe, and play a hands-on role in delivering exceptional matchday experiences for international supporters.
This is a growth-focused role with opportunities to build expertise and take on increasing responsibility over time, including ownership of specific projects and engagement with dedicated fan groups.
Main Accountabilities
- Lead on international membership and ticketing communications, using a range of digital channels to engage global supporters, adapting communication styles to suit diverse audiences.
- Act as a key point of contact for international supporters and fan groups, ensuring their experience of Brentford FC is exceptional. Maintain detailed records of international contacts and fan groups.
- Contribute to the strategic planning and execution of international marketing campaigns, ensuring alignment with brand objectives and regional market insights. Coordinate with internal teams and external partners to deliver impactful, culturally relevant campaigns across multiple channels.
- Help coordinate matchday experiences for visiting international fans, including meet-and-greets, stadium tours and events. Work some home matchdays as required, delivering fan-facing experiences and activations.
- Collaborate closely with off-field teams to ensure a best in class experience for international fans across all platforms.
- There will be opportunities to support wider marketing team functions as needed.

Person Specification - Essential Characteristics
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong interpersonal skills
- High attention to detail and ability to stay organised in a fast-paced environment.
- Able to adapt communication style depending on the audience.
- Strong interest in marketing and growing a sports fanbase.
- A demonstrable passion for football and global fandom culture.
- Comfortable taking initiative and owning areas of responsibility.
- Willingness to work flexible hours including some evenings and weekends.
- Comfortable working in a team and owning projects.
Person Specification – Desirable Characteristics
- Experience working in events, marketing, hospitality, or fan engagement.
- Fluency in one or more foreign languages is desired .
- Experience working with CRM systems or marketing tools.
- Previous involvement with fan groups or sports communities.
